Hands down the customer service is EXCELLENT! It started with a phone call asking if they had gluten free options. The woman on the phone said, everything is gluten free with the exception of the pita bread. I felt like angels were singing. We got to the restaurant around 5pm. We were seated right away and given menus. Our waitress told us she would be right back to answer any questions she was just going to close out another table. We didn't mind, as it gave us the opportunity to explore the menu. Once the waitress came back we were ready to place our orders. We let her know I had celiac and the rest of my family has a gluten intolerance. She remembered we had called and told us not to worry. We all ordered different plates (Tikka Beef Plate, Beef Shawarma, Mixed Kabob plate) and my youngest son asked for a side of French fries in addition to his plate. Our waitress was so amazing she came back to tell us the fries are fried in a shared fryer with the flour tortilla chips and asked if we still wanted them. The level of customer service is simply outstanding. Once our order came out, we were excited to dig in. You can taste all the different spices in each of the dishes, but the beef shawarma had a flavor that did not disappoint. The ribeye meat from the tikka dish was cooked to perfection. Not overcooked or tough, just right. The mixed kabob plate, was a hit! The lamb skewer was rich and delightful. The rice was so good that my boys ordered 2 additional sides of it. Overall fantastic experience and will definitely visit again.

We don't have anything like this where we are from but we wish we did.. this is fantastic Chicken Shawarma done over charcoal which takes it to a higher level... hummus is smooth and very flavorful... Service is great and there is plenty of parking. I saw these loaded French fries on the menu but we ordered too much food already so next time we are trying those. Highly recommend the hummus appetizer with your choice of meat.. it comes with these light and crispy puffy chips that you won't get anywhere else.

The food was excellent. The garlic sauce was top-notch. Hummus was tasty and pita fresh. Chicken swarma was great along with the rice. Staff was friendly, but service was a bit slow

We had couple of schwarma wraps takeout couple days ago. This was similar to a burrito style because it was wrapped in pita. Very good on the go as it came wrapped nicely. The beef was little greasy but tasty. The chicken was better of the two. The meats are charcoal grilled which gave them a nice flavor. They had live band playing on a Friday night too. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time together. They were coming to town and asked if we wanted to meet up. We had never been here and they picked where to go. We had the falafel wrap and it was delicious. Toasty and great taste. They all had kabob's and they said they were great. Great little place and very nice atmosphere and service. Fun night and great place to get together. Thank you Charcoal Grill for a great time!!

Love love love! Super close to my house and I'm just getting a chance to sink my mouth into some of the offerings from Charcoal Grill! I was invited here and was pleasantly impressed! The delicious smell hits you as soon as you walk in the door! Lots of choices and it was hard to decide what to pick! I wanted one of everything, but settled on the whole chicken platter since it would be plenty for later! The white garlic sauce is a tasty accompaniment! I simply enjoyed everything from the salad, hummus, pita, and even fries! The happy hour discount on drinks is even available on Saturdays! I highly recommend this place when you are in the area, or better yet, make a trip to this side of town. You will taste why the rating is so high! I will definitely be back for more!

On a recent trip, I found an amazing Turkish kebab place and wanted to find a local place that had similar food. Charcoal Grill was a great find. Right up front when you walk in are two rotating spits slowly turning juicy meat over charcoal. The menu has lots of options but we selected a skewer trio and a mixed shawarma plate. Whoa! Hugely generous servings on a pizza-sized plate. We barely made a dent in our portions. The great news about that is...leftovers! The staff was attentive and friendly but but not hovering. The tables were somewhat basic restaurant quality tables but this could easily be a upscaled later as the tasty food was suitable for a tablecloth and cloth napkins -- though I'm sure it would be messy and expensive to manage a linen bill with rice and olive oil in abundance! Definitely go check out Charcoal Grill for something local, tasty and different from your run of the mill night out.
